Anger and resentment of citizens in Fauquier County has been brewing for a long time. The cronyism, corrupt practices and outright lawbreaking by county officials was ignored by the local media until Fauquier Free Citizen came along.
County officials will try to place blame on FFC for reporting. However, their refusal to address their own wrongdoing will simply increase anger among county residents. And, according to this comment, the wrongdoing runs deep, a few apologists (cronies?) for the county’s bad behavior notwithstanding.

This bill would have never been drafted if the county officials and ‘electeds’ were not corrupt and did not pander to the PEC (yep, that’s that environmental group who denies any environmental impact from sludge spreading … Georgia Herbert and Chris Miller…because their members partake or who disregard the use of windmills as an alternative energy source because the dang things will wreck their VIEW SHED).
The GA was called on to assist farmers with protecting their fundamental right to grow agricultural products and sell their products without interference from Holder Trumbo, Peter Schwartz, Lee Sherbeyn, (how’s that little non-agricultural massage business working out for you Lee on your farm?), and that pea-brain Kim Johnson.
If there were not a bunch of [*##%@] running this county, then there would have never been a need for the Boneta Bill. So clue in, “Real Patriot.” Equitable representation stops at the PEC front door.
But hey FFC, don’t stop, press on. There are hundreds of issues with this county: citizens access to a line-item budget, property tax overpayments by citizens ( D’Urso’s response ” we can make up any number we want. We are Fauquier and the Commonwealth says so na, na, na … as he sticks his tongue out). Let’s discuss the 100′s of thousands of dollars the former assistant county administrator slid to his pet projects through the back door … and how long did he remain on the county payroll until his butt was kicked to the curb? What about the questionable HUD and VDH misappropriations by Fauquier Housing Corporation now Foothills last year. Doesn’t Max Tufts serve as President of that board? Name ring a bell? Max Tufts/ BZA.
There is plenty of work to do FFC. Plenty. This is just one battle, the war is not won.

This county is the laughing stock of the state this fight is not just about farming its about all of our rights I’m almost ashamed to call it home but there are some good people around here still and if we truly did all band together the officials would be in deep $!@# but the problem is that too many people are just for themselves and the county knows that when it get too hot they can cut deals behind closed doors and in so called attorney/client priveleged emails not subject to foia request of course unless they slip up and put the yellow tagged emails not to send in the request anyway it is so ass backwards where do you even start to correct it other than fight the machine that we help fuel with our tax dollars that they will get out of you one way or another what a bunch of morons and as far as the PEC and your buddy Kim Johnson and the lady in Alexandria ya’ll can kiss my ass and call whoever the hell else you want to about my shop I don’t give a dam ill fight ya for my rights even if it takes the rest of my life yall will leave before I do

Be afraid Citizens of Virginia! If you dare to fight for your property rights the PEC will sick Margaret “Peggy” Richards (Her Royal Hanus sits on the PEC’s Board of Directors) on you and you might just get a nice big fat IRS Tax Audit! Stay tuned as this story unfolds…

Wow ! I am starting to believe there might be some “Backbone” in Fauquier County after all. Gods speed !! Do you know how to fill positions of government that are despised and adhered by We The People ? Just get very despicable people to fill them, in fact those kind of people will be the only ones to apply. Ross Durso, Catherine Ledgerton, Doug Larson and the other low life forms who consider themselves very important. Keep up the fight and keep the pressure on ! “Have no association with the Fruitless works of darkness but, EXPOSE THEM !!!!! Oh You may want to question Durso about the HIDDEN Tax Payer Money in the CAFR That is The Comprehensive Annual Finance Report Check it out if you want to find real fraud and abuse !!!!!
