In a recent article “Civility in Fauquier County…” we responded to criticism about our postings, we explained that we get
an occasional earful from the few defenders of abuse by Fauquier County government who claim our quest for the truth is uncivil.
We stand by our quest for the truth, and because the truth has its jagged edges, it is less than truthful to conceal those edges.
Again we welcome all comments to our pages that are void of vulgarity and we again pledge to print your comments.
We stand by our mission to give you the truth and let you decide.
We have also expressed concern about Fauquier government officials responding with incivility when citizens in search of facts pose questions to them.
Delegate Scott Lingamfelter offered his opinion on how the rough and tumble of politics should be handled while speaking to the Agriculture Subcommittee this week. You can view the video Here.
One of our local elected officials also weighed in on Delegate Lingamfelter’s Face Book page, and you can read those comments Here.
We leave it to you to decide who is civil and who is not.
